1/The importance of Manston maintaining aviation (a growing industry) use, both locally and nationally.

2/Job creation in Thanet, a deprived area.

3/An aquifer exists under this site that serves Thanet. No other development would be suitable!

4/Overwhelming support from the local population for aviation use. We have had Manston as a functioning airport for over a hundred years!
