I am a supporter of the save manston campaign, I believe manston should become an airport again as it will not only provide jobs but be a much needed asset to thanet communities. If manston was to be re-opened our family could benefit from travelling abroad as we would find it so much easier as the larger airports are much to far for us to get to. The island already has far too much housing, with all our Greenland disappearing it's a loss of wildlife and nature. Manston is a valuable heritage and the need to keep the airport is great amongst locals and further airfield. The majority far outways the minority who want to see manston thrive in the right hands again. We all miss the sight and sound of the planes and I hope that with the generous help and support from river oak this can become a great profitable and expanding business than everyone can benefit from.
