I believe that a successful DCO with RSP will mean a thriving airport for the area. An open airport means more jobs for Thanet/Kent at present we do not really have much to shout about. We only thrive on 'cafe culture' and the summer with tourists coming in the summer. We need an airport that means jobs for many walks of life, a hub, a chance for everyone to fulfill work potential, better quality of life. I feel that if RSP are successful they can really do something and make it work where others have failed in the past. At present there doesn't seem to be anyone else willing to other than RSP, the airport has been here over 100 years, has survived two world wars and I believe will survive again and will bring much needed employment to the area.
