As a resident in close proximity to the proposed development I consider myself an interested party!! This development is not needed or wanted. There are already under utilised Rail Freight Terminals (DIRFT/EMG and Northampton Gateway), within the East Midlands region. Energy and resource should be directed at these developments in how they can become more productive thus closing the gap for freight bound for the UK from overseas. This area is green land that is a vital source to the environment, farming and residents of the local villages and Hinckley town, providing green open space for people to enjoy for exercise, relaxation and mental wellbeing.
