As an occupant of Burbage I am seriously worried about:- The affects on all local road of the extra traffic both lorries and cars, the affect on the location Burbage woods and common, the affects should there be a bridge strike on the nearby A5, or accidents on the M69, M1 and M6 which at the moment, immediately sends traffic into our area and will be increased by the rail terminal. The affects of fumes and noise stretching over Burbage and in all other directions. The fact that this proposal if passed will be a duplicate in excess of requirement covered by others and therefore will be come a warehousing estate not a rail hub, which by planning it this way, takes away local wishes and planning. Due to the lack of unemployment in the Hinckley area most employees will travel through Burbage and Hinckley to get to the hub. Finally, the Company carrying out this work has not been truthful with either the true data or information about this project to us via paperwork or during the open days where they couldn't or wouldn't answer our questions. By design or incompetence. So I think thus project should nit be allowed.
