I recognise that there is a need for more warehouse capacity in UK and that it is better to provide it with rail transport to avoid making road congestion worse. The proposed site at Hinckley appears to be ideal due to its good road and rail links and the fact that the M69 and Nuneaton-Leicester railway are both free from congestion. I will be considering the plans in respect of the effect on local traffic, easy access from the railway to the site from both directions, visual appearance and other local matters.
