We live in an area already overwhelmed with warehousing, Magna Park and Dirft are a stone's throw from here and another huge Amazon and DPD hub has shot up in th past 2 years. This new development will lose us the area of Burbage common as one of the few areas locally where we can enjoy countryside , and add huge amounts of traffic to the towns and villages around us that are already at bursting point. And they have no buyers. Its speculation , that is subsidised, with no thouhhts to the damage being done. They already have to bus workers in from afar as they cant fill jobs locally, so what is the point. As usual the needs of local people are ignored, and those of people not affected are prioritised. Its a waste of money and a blight on the land when DIRFT is only 10 miles away and makes it pointless.
