Firstly, the question of necessity for the project at all - there are numerous similar depots within a small radius and an enormous facility at DIRFT just 16 miles away. Secondly, the enormity of the devastation to the lives of four villages in this huge development's shadow. The noise, the traffic, the pollution and the loss of facilities is immense and life changing. The 24/7 activity will have a massive impact on a huge area with no benefits to the environment, no worthwhile or needed jobs and no evidence of need. The other consideration is the effect of the virtually constant closure of local level crossings leading to and from the facility Estimates based on the companies' own figures re trains would mean a busy road in Narborough would be shut 40 minutes out of every hour. In summary, this plan is badly thought out, is not needed or of any value and would decimate the lives of thousands of people. Please think again.
