The proposed development will have an long lasting detrimental impact on such a large area of natural space surrounding Hinckley. Burbage Common and adjacent land is a haven for wildlife and enjoyed by many locals, the close proximity of this development will mean that my children will have forever lost this green space which is just simply unacceptable. In a time when we have full understanding of environmental impact it is staggering to think that debatable economics is put ahead of long term sustainability. We have other under used rail freight nearby which could be utilised far more efficiently rendering this proposal unnecessary. The impact on the local road system is under played. The conjestion and subsequent pollution as a result will be negatively life changing for some. There needs to come a time when our environment is considered more valuable than anything else. I don't want my children to grow up surrounded by any more vast warehouses.
