this rail freight hub will have an devastating impact on a number of things in the area and should not get built. narbourgh level crossing, while it may be able to cope with the extra freight trains it wont handle the extra passenger trains that are proposed under the midlands rail hub plan meaing worse service for all. the impact of traffic levels will be catastrophic, the a5 is alreddy clogged with lorries to the point it’s dangerous and looking at the plans there is little to encourage cycling, the image of the plan shows huge car parks which will bring the area to a stand with all the extra traffic not to mention the extra co2 at a time we need really need to reduce it. the impact on the environment is the most worrying. burbage common woods will be ruined, wildlife destroyed and air quality unbearable by this plan and it’s unacceptable. if this plan goes ahead it will lead to more houses being built too meaning the entire countryside being destroyed and services overwhelmed beond breaking point. please dont let this horrific plan proceed
