I lead a Walking for Health group from Burbage Common. Many of the paths and roads we use will be adversely affected by lorry transport, making them unsafe. We regularly use 2 railway crossings, which will become probably too dangerous to take a group of elderly people across, making some of our current routes impossible to access. I am also a volunteer driver for our local Community Transport Scheme, taking people for hospital/medical appointments. The increased level of traffic, heavy lorries etc. will make this far more difficult , and a worry for people getting to their appointments in plenty of time. I cannot see the need for this development !
