I live adjacent to the perimeter road as you will note from the address. The extra 200 (could be plus) lorries/vehicles would cause so much extra pollution and noise to this neighbourhood. There is already a poor air quality in this area now. I am asthmatic and dread to think the affect it will have on my health. I understand the heavier lorries and freight are unable to go directly from the depot to the motorway as the bridge is too weak. The nearby crossroad is very busy now and with the extra traffic crossing the road to go to the bus stop will be virtually impossible. The road has a speed limit on it but unfortunately not many drivers take heed of this and with the extta traffic it will be like living on a F! track. During the summer months it is noisy when sitining in the garden but exra traffic will put a complete stop to this. I have been told ttat theee is an area in Nottinghma where the power station was sited could easily be used for this purpost as the ground waould be more suited instead of ruining a common where people like to walk their dogs, take children out and generally relax in the country side.
