Why build on green belt land, our countryside when there is a rail freight terminal only 15 miles away in Crick with infrastructure already there. Just expand this area as it is close to the M1, M6, M45 and A14 and A5. These surrounding roads have already been improved in recent times and can cope with all the extra traffic involved whereas the roads around Hinckley, especially the A5 is massively congested already. WHY remove the green belt and its wildlife too when other area not far away is perfectly suitable. Hinckley is a busy town which feels more like a city than a town and is expanding rapidly with houses being built and the roads are going to struggle so building the Railfreight Terminal here will make it even worse.
