I oppose the application on the following grounds. The proposed project is sited next to a common that is enjoyed and used by the public for its beauty and tranquility. This project will impact on this amenity. Even with the proposed road restructuring keeping HGV traffic away from Stoney Stanton this does not take into account increased traffic from potential employees to the site. Stoney Stanton can barely cope with traffic now . There is already sites along the A5 and a freight terminal at Magna Park, why another at such close proximity? This proposal is on green belt land. The effects on people and wildlife is an ecological disaster. Within the last two years a huge commercial site has been built next to the M69 at its junction with the A5. More green belt lost. Finally there are proposals to build a housing estate of approximately 4000 houses opposite the proposed Rail Terminal to the west of Stoney Stanton running along side the M69 which along with this proposed Terminal will utterly destroy the village of Stoney Stanton
