  1. Proposed alterations to Leicester Road Sapcote regarding this proposed development. This is already a busy route through Sapcote, any additional traffic will cause danger and further risk to people and animals. This road is narrow in places with blind corners so people or animals (domestic and wild) crossing will not be seen. The road has school children waiting for buses, a church on a blind bend where many elderly people attend. This road should be considered to be by passed which could easily be done. Further to a bypass the road which is a B road should be classified with local traffic only. 2. I am concerned on the negative environmental impact this proposed development will have on wildlife, light pollution, noise pollution, dust, increased diesel HGV lorries used in the area vastly increasing dirty emissions and air quality into a populated area so detrimental to health. Green spaces will be lost to wildlife. 3. All the villages affected by this proposed development form a group of historic value (fosse villages) which are part of our historic Roman history. It is important that we value our ancient history and villages. 4. This proposed development will take many years affecting peoples welfare and wellbeing, in this day when mental health issues have rightfully come to the forefront, this will cause unnecessary additional life stresses, peoples homes, roads, green spaces, walks and recreation, lost value in their properties, smells and noises, dust and dirt, years and years of nuisance road works and building, and many more will be unfair to the local community. 5. Looking at the plans it is apparent that Burbage common will be affected, this is of great importance to all the local villages where children can play, people can walk their dogs, lost green spaces and woodland affecting wildlife. It also appears that some villages will be surrounded by the development which is totally unfair to people living there. 6. One concern I have had through this whole process is the lack of consultation that has taken place, presentations have been very little on detail, people at the consultation meetings were ill informed and reluctant to discussing how and when and alternatives to the proposals so effectively I am still waiting for a consultation. What has taken place is a presentation.
