Hello and for starters It’s “an extra16+” trains a day not just “16 trains” which I’ve just read is actually 32! So that’s an EXTRA 32 trains. Secondly the road network surrounding this huge site already struggles at peak times and with this proposal it will be near grid lock in the surrounding area (6miles) especially with creating an on and off ramp on the M69 which will make our village (Stoney Stanton) more polluting and busy with HGV’s that already are not suitable for the area. IF this was to go ahead then the entire industrial units running along side the M69 shouldn’t be built and left as green space and a flood plain with trees, walking and cycle routes. Then Tritax should be made to upgrade surrounding roads and create new bypasses around the villages that will be drastically harmed if this goes ahead with Lorries and Cars using the site. I’m sure this will be pushed through and we shall have to move from the area. We moved here 5 years ago and have since had a child and for his quality of life we would not want our child brought up around this. I’m sure you would not either. A matter of national importance… I DON’T THINK SO!!
