I do not agree with this proposed project because of the following concerns which will impact local residents day-to-day life: 1). The Hinckley National Rail Freight Interchange (HNRFI) site will create significant additional heavy goods vehicles on the M69, B4668, B4669 and local roads around Hinckley and Burbage. 2). If Tritax consider their main markets for goods arriving at the HNRFI are Magna Park (on the A5), Coventry and South Leicester. This will significantly increase goods carried by large heavy goods vehicles from the HNRFI site, which will create too much congestion on the M69 and local roads around Hinckley and Stoney Stanton. 3). If there are going to be 16 trains arriving and 16 trains departing each day this will create significant high levels of noise for residents near to the train line around Hinckley. 4). Local population health concerns: The site will also create an adverse effect on the local natural environment for local residents and wild life due to significant increases in vehicle air pollution from diesel heavy goods vehicles moving the goods to Magna Park, Coventry and South Leicester.
