The Hinkley Rail Freight will potentially mean our home is flatterned to allow the expansion of the Leicester road through Sapcote. It also means that there will be an influx of HGV going through Sapcote and the surrounding villages which will surely mean a reduction in air quality and an increase in traffic. Leicestershire is meant to be the heart of rural England and it seems counter intuitive to damage three wonderful Villages (Sapcote, Stoney Stanton and Elmsthrope) by bringing heavy industry to the area.
