As a resident of the village for forty years I am concerned about a. the potential noise. Even now on a still evening we can hear the Nuneaton Leicester trains. How much the greater with a train hub? b. the traffic in the village. Sapcote ..and Sharnford have restricted central arteries. Where does the new resulting traffic go? c. the light pollution. I record the moths in the area. Such varieties as the rare Waved Black and Light Brocade and the even rarer Dark Crimson Underwing. Light pollution from lamps is already an issue. How much more with round the clock working at a hub? d. We are fighting for green space...Fosse Meadows yes, Burbage Common a valued resource...but the hub with attendant developement of roads and houses destroys habitat for people and nature.
