Detrimental to my local environment - transport infrastructure is very poor regarding a huge increase of road haulage for onward transport of goods locally - plus noise pollution from trains and the new depot/hub that is planned - loss of woods and long established nature area - loss of habitat for animals and birds - the local road network is inadequate given the two-way single carriageway (Hinckley by-pass) A47 is already gridlocked to and from the A5 - and as the line is not electrified the inevitable increased pollution and poor quality of air for me and locally. The construction noise will also be very disruptive and noisy.
