We feel that this project is not suitable for this location. It is very close to Burbage Woods and Common which is a country park and has a lot of diverse flora and fauna which will be disturbed by the construction work and also by the daily activities when it is operational. We already have an interchange at Daventry, which is close to Magna Park, and one near East Midlands Airport. It is a rural location and the nearest larger towns are Hinckley and Nuneaton which would mean that employees would have to be transported to the site and many would do this in their own cars. This would add more traffic to an already overburdened road network. Although the height of the warehouses has been reduced it would still be a very imposing development. The trees and green spaces provided would take years to mature and not be very beneficial. It is also taking up valuable arable land. We urge that careful consideration is given to this proposal.
