I am opposed to the proposal for the following reasons: - There is already significant distribution capacity within a 10 mile radius, most notably south of Hinckley along the A5. - It will result in an increase of road traffic, both in terms of heavy goods vehicles and the workforce. Local roads are already congested. - I am concerned that local infrastructure and social services will be unable to cope with an upsurge in population. - Burbage common is a beautiful area for leisure activities and valuable for wildlife. I believe that the light pollution and noise caused by the facility will adversely affect the wellbeing of the wildlife. - There must be suitable brown field sites available which would have a lesser impact on the local community.
