The junction just outside of my road will be near impossible to get out of for work in the morning. It is already extremely busy and adds an extra 5 minutes to my work journey. The construction is too much for the beautiful little village to take. I live in one of the newer built houses but even I dislike the new build area, the houses are all built on top of each other with no aesthetic about them that ties them into the rest of the village. Stoney Stanton is a quaint and quiet location that I chose because I wanted to live in a qaint and quiet place away from busy areas, but this idyllic location will be destroyed with constant trucks and tractors - not to mention the resulting 6000 houses. This is an outrageous amount. Stoney Stanton is already exceptionally busy in the working commute times. You should not make those already living here suffer the consequences of even more traffic. I'd suggest building somewhere that is already built up. Don't ruin yet another one of Leicestershire's villages with even more new build homes that could be better placed somewhere else. Leicestershire companies that I work with (at Cross Productions and Niche Magazine) like BID Leicester, Visit Leicester, Team Leicester and East Midlands Chamber have worked exceptionally hard for many many years to promote our county as a great place to live, work and visit. One factor on their side is our fantastic countryside that makes people so happy here. Stoney Stanton is happily surrounded by some beautiful countryside. I want to live somewhere beautiful like Stoney Stanton. Not somewhere that's going to have an extra 6000 homes added to it, making it a busy area.
