Increased number of freight trains on railway behind many resident houses which will impact the noise levels and traffic in Narborough. If the HNRF goes ahead, noise barriers will be required behind the houses on Princess street in Narborough. Noise level on the M1 is already unbearable on Princess street, Alexandra street and Roy close, and will increase even further with an additional lorries traveling to and from HNRF. Residents already require noise measures such as noise cancelling barriers, resurfacing of the road or lower speed limit along the Narborough stretch of the M1.
