I'm concerned about pollution and the environmental impact. The noise and particulates during and after construction will affect local wildlife, particularly at Burbage Common, but wider afield. Increased HGV's on the roads also concerns me; there will be increased traffic far beyond what our roads around Hinckley and local area can cope with. This will affect safety and physical/emotional wellbeing of all. Finally, do we really NEED yet another freight terminal? The East Midlands is losing agricultural land at an alarming rate to warehouse/logistics developers. The ecological impact of this will be severe in the years to come. Places like Lutterworth already have vast amounts of logistics distribution capability, so adding yet another and destroying more local Greenland is devastating and morally wrong.
