Impact on wildlife- I know there’s a vast amount of wildlife in the proposed area, this not only will be affected by the rail freight being built but also going forward by the increased amount of traffic. The health of the general public- this may sounds silly but to many people walking the quiet lane to Aston Flamville ( Lychgate Lane and Aston lane ) gives people time to unwind and relax from their busy working lives, they enjoy the unspoilt green fields, the familiar scenery as they walk the non commercialised roads. You know it and I know it, there’s fewer and fewer natural sanctuaries- places people want to go, rather than a built place that people are told to go. I hope someone’s checked for great crested newts, as I know they’ve been seen in the area.
