I travel to Hinckley 3 times a week, the size of this is daunting. The increased traffic both cars and lorries will be oiff the scale. How many cars a day for staff? How many lorries , new road to A47/B668 which are the 2 routes I use will just cause mayhem. I live in the village next to Narborough and drive over the crossing many times a week. Narborough is a small village and when trains barriers are down it causes big traffic queues now especially with long commercial trains to Croft Quarry and the fumes from cars and lorries which are idleing. is horrendeous and detrmental to everyone. Sometimes wait can be 6/7 mins with huge freight trains say 10 a day we would be waiting what 10/15 mins as they do not go fast through that staion . In an hour if 2 Birmingham trains, 2 NFT trains and say 1 to Croft that could be 20/25 mins in an hour waiting. Utter piffle. The backlog of traffic would be back onto the main B4118 . Totally grid locked . More details on the number of trains and the number of containers on each, will this be capped to a maximum?
