The Government state that rail freight terminals are to reduce the impact on the environment by reducing diesel lorries on the roads, this terminal is increasing the amount of diesel lorries to this area, over 250 per day, also the train line servicing the terminal is a non- electric line with no prospect of change, so this will serviced by diesel locomotives, I find it hypocritical that the working man is being punished for driving diesel yet this is considered, this will have a huge impact on the health of the local community.
