My main comment is that having heard previously from meetings that the proposal will include a minimum of 12 trains per day, carrying at least 20 off 40foot containers will travel through the village of Stoney Stanton every day regardless oh holidays etc. Because these trains will be diesel the sheer pollution and noise disturbance will be horrendous for the villagers. My second concern is that the lorries -vans that will ultimately be carrying the various shipments will grow daily through the villages to in excess of 1000 vehicles, many of which will pass through our village adding to the pollution and noise and inconvenience on the roads, most of which are single track built over 50 years ago.
