Burbage Common and Burbage Woods have been a recreation area for Hinckley and surrounding area for over 900 years framed by countryside. This proposal will change the frame work to an industrial one, 24/7 noise, buildings, increase traffic. These warehouse jobs are not needed, because we have these all along the A5 to Lutterworth. Part of the proposal is to join the A47 to the M69 via The Common Road right by our Sports grounds for Rugby, Football and Cricket polluting our sportsmen and women. There are already two nearby rail hubs, both underused. I have spoken to an Executive of a Company as to why his company doesn’t use it. An extra process of loading and unloading of goods to an unconnected organisation would increase costs. I am aware huge demonstrations are planned by various organisations if this goes ahead. Most people believe this is corruption by a Conservative Government and people close to them. Do not destroy our environment please.
