I live in the Village right next door to this proposed site. The amount of traffic that is likely to end up using the site will end up being in the hundreds per day, including large and heavy goods vehicles, which will block the roads, and the villages around the area, which have narrow, slow roads and cannot handle such traffic. The noise will also be horrendous, especially during the building phase, and then due to the traffic and site operation once built. The M69 can also not handle much more traffic, especially at peak times, when it already backs up for miles and causes many accidents. Lorries and trucks from the site will make this far worse. It will diminish the value of the properties in the area which is deemed to be one of the most sought after rural locations in Leicestershire and you will ruin it. This includes destroying much of the Burbage Common wildlife and countryside area which has many important species living there which are protected, and that is a very popular area for locals to take their children and dogs. Little thought is ever given to the locals or the villages. The developers only ever care about money. We dont need it!!! The only thing I like the idea of in the entire plan is to build the southern side junction slip roads onto the M69 which have been needed for years.
