Light polution affecting wildlife, impact to wildlife in fields and hedgerows, impact of industry onto the current beautiful peaceful woodlands. I have enjoyed walks on paths around and through the woods with my dog for many years and it deeply saddens me to imagine the impact this will have to area. Having seen the plans, it's clear this will open more future road traffic demand, around the M69 access and then linking over towards Elmesthorpe and driving through Burbage, linking from A5. There needs to be an honest future planning of traffic to all the local areas, as traffic is already a problem through Burbage in to Hinckley nevermind extra HGVs. What is the expected impact / interest by even more Distrubtion centres, like Amazon and DPD.. we have seen green fields disappearing around A5 corridors ? it's already bad enough, but by adding this link clearly Distrubtion centres will increase... more HGVs... more traffic.
