HNRFI Objections * Environmental impact: Loss of open landscape and arable farmland: Development destroys countryside, neighbouring SSSI/woodland and wildlife habitat. * Traffic congestion: Inadequate road infrastructure unable to support huge increase in the number of vehicle/HGV movements in the surrounding area. A5 junctions already accident hotspots. Residents health and quality of life would be impacted. * Wrong location: Not needed as already SRIs at DRIFT, East Midlands Gateway and SEGRO Logistics Park Northampton. Rural setting half way between ports and areas of consumption. Golden triangle misconception as this relates to road haulage not road and rail.
