Having moved within the last 12 months into the village of Sapcote, I find this proposal of the warehousing and additional road links just outside Sapcote village appalling. If these plans are to go ahead it will create more traffic, noise and disruption to the village we have moved to. This will evidently produce more traffic both in the form of lorries and commuters wanting to gain access to the new road junction 2 of the M69. One only needs to go into the village centre (by the Co Op store) to see how narrow and acute the road already is. Increased traffic at this point would be a danger to the residents on the narrow road and children crossing the road to get to their nearby school. WE DID NOT MOVE TO THIS TRANQUIL VILLAGE TO BE BURDENED WITH THIS HIGHLY UNATTRACTIVE AND DISASTEROUS PROPOSAL. HOW WOULD YOU FEEL IF THIS WAS TO HAPPEN WHERE YOU LIVED?
