Totally against this proposal. It backs right onto a local beauty spot and will be a blight both visually and for the wildlife living on the common and woods. The light and noise pollution will be terrible and the proposed road improvements will have little effect on the massive increase in traffic through Hinckley, Burbage, Sapcote and all of the surrounding areas. The roads are already quite narrow and are often congested already. I’m also far from convinced about the ‘need’ for this. Magna Park is just down the road, there is also DIRFT fairly Close by and there are massive distribution warehouses all over the area. In short it’ll be terrible for the area, it’s not needed and once the area is built on it is almost certain to spread.
