Main issues would include hugely increased air, noise and light pollution affecting the area - such a big project will significantly impact these. Environmental impact, will lead to a loss of wildlife and plant life - which pollution from the construction of and then ongoing use of will further negatively impact. In addition to impacting wildlife the pollution will likely impact the health of individuals living in and around the areas affected. Current infrastructure for traffic is under strain and cannot reliably cope with the current amount of traffic, additional traffic from both the construction and then ongoing use will have a huge impact on travel time, increased pollution, likely increasing chances of accidents etc.
