I have noticed that this area is already covered by a number of rail freight terminals, including DIRFT, Coleshill and East Midlands. The proposed site will have no improvement in the environment, locally it will be hugely detrimental due to increased diesel trains, trucks and power station on site. A spur line to Magna Park would be more effective and the train fly under and Nuneaton will allow this line to connect to DIRFT making any benefits bill and void. This is not supported by local community, local is the claim to benefit, therefore this should be stopped and is probably not of national strategic importance!
