THE MAIN ISSUES ARE: NOISE FROM THE RAILWAY (32 trains a day/NIGHT) we will be able to hear - day and night) - we live half a mile away. IMPACT ON THE BURBAGE COMMON ie noise, pollution and wildlife (I walk at Burbage woods, Sapcote road and across the Common every day/week and the size of the project and location will affect the natural habitat and social/mental wellbeing of any walkers/cyclists. (we are also cycle from home. INCREASE IN TRAFFIC ON A5/M69/LOCAL AREA The A5 is largely single lanes with the "most struck railway bridge" in England, which effects the rail services and traffic needing to be re-routed, causing delays (re-routing comes past our home with long delays and fumes (we live 50 feet away) THE DRFT HUB ON A5 NR TO M1 This has grown massively in last 10 years and supports MAGNA PARK rather than the automotive industry in Leicestershire, WHICH DOES NOT EXIST. The auto motive facilitty is largely JLR which is currently expanding to use the new HS2. The impact of such a development will not only effect adults and children alike but also generations to come and it is hoped that planners who sit in offices in London or wherever come to visit first hand the considered location.
