Road infrastructure - it is suggested that there will be a link road built and the M69 will also be used. What happens when there are problems on these roads? Sapcote and Stoney Stanton have now been mentioned on the revised plan - neither of these villages will be able to take the large loads as the roads are not suitable in anyway. There are 2 railway bridges in the area (A5 and in Hinckley) which are hit by large lorries on a regular basis - the area then gets grid locked. The applicants have not looked at the bigger picture regarding the roads in this area. There is a level crossing in Narborough - this will impact traffic when the freight trains go through - up to 32 trains daily. Burbage Common is the only large open space in the area (Hinckley /Burbage/Earl Shilton and the surrounding villages)- it is free to use and is visited by many people. From the area, a car is NOT needed to access the Common, however the other large open space is in Market Bosworth where a car is needed to get there and there is a charge for parking. The area this hub is supposed to support is stated as Magna Park,South Leicester and Coventry - there is an existing hub at DIRFT - which is 16miles away which is easily able to support these areas. I attended one of the "consultations" which was a shamble - replies to questions asked were not given as their representatives just did not know the area. Backs were turned when they were put under pressure.
