The development is not needed. There are already ample similar facilities in close proximity to the proposed location. The business case for this development does not stack up. The assessment of impact on the roads and rail intersections is inadequate. Particularly the impact on Narborough and Littlethorpe. The additional train movements will adversely impact the level crossing at Narborough/Littlethorpe. The impacts of the crossing being down is already noticeable in the villages of Narborough and Littlethorpe, which clogs up traffic in residential streets, increases pollution and impedes day to day life. Additional trains, will add to that pollution, and impact the villages in a detrimental way. This will mean our village centre will decline, as people will avoid the village and businesses will fail. The impacts on road flows are also not reflective of reality, as the assessments have ignored local knowledge. The unneeded loss green belt land would be a crime to nature. Development of brownfield or further development of existing closing infrastructure would be a better investment and development.
