Freight will need to use the roads to access this freight terminal, some might come via M69, but most will be through the surrounding villages, especially Stoney Stanton and Sapcote. It will cause 24hour light pollution and noise pollution, which will be seen and heard for a long way, to the detriment of the local residents. There are very few unemployed people in this area, so they will have to drive there to get to work, so that's adding to pollution and traffic. The level crossing at Narborough will cause ever more pollution, as lots of vehicles will be waiting for the gates to open, bad enough now with just short trains running through. It is right by an SSI, which will have an impact on the area. Once this area has been built over, it can never be replaced. There are other rail freight terminals not too distant away, so they can be used before this area is totally ruined.
