I feel this proposed rail hub would be detrimental to our local wildlife which is already struggling with the amount of building taking place in this area. I often walk across the fields, where they intend to site this railhub, to Burbage common. This is an area which has various species of birds and hares and foxes and very well used by the local community. This is not the site for this type of development as there currently is no road infrastructure in place and the amount of traffic they propose would be detrimental to our air quality at a time when we should be preserving our wildlife and improving our air and environment for nature. This proposal should not be allowed to go ahead in such a sensitive natural environment and should be stopped.
