Site – Greenfield. No review of brownfield sites. No review of other better ? development sites. The site is a water storage/flood avoidance resource Provides well used access routes to Burbage Common Adjacent to SSSI Woodland Not aggressively farmed – good wildlife habitat Common and rarer wildlife resident and feeding Not level – 30 m height variation across the site. Plan - Congested buildings with 5 metre level difference Steep slopes for both road and rail connections Restricted connection to rail network at Nuneaton Rail only on outside edge of site Link road M69 to A47 uses spoil from site Effect - First large development within a historical green wedge area On high ground – visual and noise problems 24 hr working necessary for rail paths Containers stacked on edge of site - noise Site and local road usage not segregated Mitigation not on the scale of the disruption Consultation queries – 8 raised 1 answered 4 no detail yet 3 no reply Questions – Pressurised sewerage pipe diversion ?
