This is not wanted! There will be a loss of green belt land and environmental damage as well a a loss to wildlife and habitats. This area has lost enough and many would argue too much already to warehousing etc., any jobs created will be offered through temporary contract agencies, with limited value to employees. If this depot were to go ahead it should be made conditional that at least 90% of any employment opportunities should be of permanent contracted positions through legitimate employers. Apprenticeship opportunities should include guarantees that there will be 50 apprenticeships per year for at least 25 years with employment offers at the end of them. With my final comment in mind…let me make my view clear…this development is not acceptable. It is morally wrong to foist this on the communities that it will impact the most. We do not need or want it!
