This project should not go ahead and should be rejected outright. There are plenty of other sites more applicable. This is a blot on the landscape for Hinckley. Go back to the distribution centre at Corby which is close to the M1 and A5. This project will carve up more countryside and it should go to an area where there is a need for redevelopment. For example, Blythe has a disused coal power station with and unused deep sea port, rail links etc. The proximity of the site to Hinckley will mean that living in Hinckley will become insufferable. It is likely that there will be minimal employment opportunities for the people of Hinckley because they wont have the required specific skills. This project will mean that house prices will be depressed. I bet the investors/owners will be living in large statelky homes and well away from the clank, bang and general noise of this site.
