My concern is about the likelihood of increased traffic flow along the A5 corridor between the M42 and the M69. I live in Witherley and access to and from the village from and on to the A5 is currently very hazardous due to the amount of traffic. Traffic has increased significantly with the house building along the A5 in Dordon, Weddington and the Longshoot in Nuneaton. This rail project is likely to further increase the traffic flows and with the proposed MIRA project between the Red Gate island and the MIRA island will compound this further. I anticipate gridlock, chaos and mayhem.
