Will result in dramatic reduction of public green space within the area. Hinckley and Burbage are already heavily surrounded by industrial warehouses which eat into the once rural landscape and are unpleasant to live nearby. Burbage common remains the largest public green space in the area providing access to nature for all generations. Separately the impact on the surrounding road network and local amenities does not feel suitable. Traffic around the M69 and A5 is already very heavy and we already cannot access an NHS dentist for our children: increased population growth to the area is not currently sustainable.
