The rail hub will vastly increase light pollution which will have a significant adverse affect on wildlife in the Burbage woods area. There is no guarantee that HGV vehicles travelling to and from the hub will not use Hinckley and Burbage as a shortcut to the A5, increasing air and noise pollution in the area. The proposed workforce at the hub will also increase traffic in the area. The road network in Burbage and Hinckley is unable to cope with the existing traffic.
