1 - The area is surrounded by small villages and as such the infrastructure is already overstretched with new builds, warehousing and the A5 which is a farce as a major road. 2 - I fear for the health of the local population who many have no idea what is happening. The increased pollution, in the air, noise and light will have a detrimental effect on people young and old. 3 - My main concern is for our enviroment and the wildlife habitat that this heinous project will interfere with. The area has been as it is for many years and wildlife thrives. This government has already trashed the countryside with HS2, Mass warehousing and other rail freight interchanges. This is not nimbism, if I had a choice I would be living by the sea. It is a fact that we need to help our wildlife. 4 - Finally for now, we simply do not need this. We have other rail freight terminals within a short distance from here, the improvements needed to our exisiting rail link, road infrastructure and housing development that will come with it will be so expensive it makes no sense.
