Impacts: 1) Pollution levels I would wish to see a fully, verifiably independent (not like the purchasing of PPE/services during the pandemic) research report with a good wide brief and funding, to look into the increases in pollution that will be the result of the proposed changes. 2. Loss of publicly accessible green space. Burbage Common is a lung and a heavily used accessible green space to our community and to others who travel here. It is also a favoured place for dog-walkers. Our green spaces are being eroded and Burbage Common is one of the main attractions for people to live in, and move to, Hinckley. 3. Loss of natural habitat. Burbage Common contains ancient woodlands and is a natural habitat for wildlife at a time when loss of wildlife is rapidly becoming an extinction issue. We need to preserve these ancient habitats. 4. Effect of noise and air pollution. Even if areas of woodland and field/common land are left untouched, increased noise and air pollution will be highly detrimental to wildlife and the habitat, as well as to humans who currently benefit from the 'lung' created by the Common.
